Sometimes you just need someone to tell it like it is

Amplified Opera began over an honest conversation about how we were feeling as artists. We had grown accustomed to not being heard, to bending our identities in ways that didn’t resonate with who we are as humans. We started listening to each other’s stories and discovered that we shared common ground. By sharing our experiences we discovered that we are not alone, we are powerful.

So we decided to take action

Amplified Opera is here to listen. We want to hold space for challenging and diverse voices to express themselves and share their experiences in a way that feels authentic and on their own terms. We produce shows that invite conversation and challenge the status quo.
